SA Schools Space Mission

We’ve partnered with the South Australian Government to create the first schools space mission. Every DECD school in SA will have the chance to submit a proposal to the Space Mission. The top 3 projects will sit on the Bartolomeo platform outside the ISS, collecting data and performing experiments for a year.

How to apply:

Stage 1: Expression of Interest (EOI)

Submit an expression of interest form, including principal endorsement, by 7 July 2017.

Stage 2: 5 Minute Multimedia Presentation

Submit a 3 to 8 page portfolio by 20 September 2017, and it will be showcased at the 68th International Astronautical Congress, where an expert panel will shortlist 6 projects.

Stage 3: Shortlist to Prototype

The 6 leading projects will be announced by 30 October 2017, which will progress to a prototyping and testing stage. The three best projects will be selected for launch.
