SpIRIT nanosatellite set to launch on the SpaceX Transporter 9 in late 2023

Neumann Space is proud to announce the successful completion of pre-integration acceptance testing and review of its Neumann Drive®, for the Space Industry Responsive Intelligent Thermal (SpIRIT) nanosatellite. The SpIRIT project is led by the University of Melbourne Space Laboratory, working with a consortium of Australian industry partners and the Italian Space Agency (ASI).

The Neumann electric propulsion system Flight Model has been delivered for integration into the satellite bus with the launch scheduled on SpaceX Transporter 9 in late 2023. The SpIRIT satellite will then operate for two years demonstrating the long-term performance of Australian-made space technology.
