Senator the Hon Simon Fawcett tours the world-class Neumann Space headquarters in Kent Town, Adelaide
Neumann Space was honoured to host South Australian Senator the Hon Simon Fawcett, Deputy Chair of Joint Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs, Defence and Trade.
Senator Fawcett toured the new world-class facility Neumann Space is building to develop, manufacture, and test electric propulsion systems in Australia.
We took the opportunity to showcase the Neumann Drive, including the scaled-up version for SmallSat and a live demonstration of our multi-head Neumann Drive ahead of its first delivery early 2025.
Discussions with Neumann Space founders and management and Senator Fawcett focussed on Space sovereignty for Australia, capabilities provided by companies like Neumann Space, and the role of the federal government in partnership with industry to ensure Australia’s space ambitions, for Defence and commercial applications, can be met efficiently and with a sense of urgency.
